AEP Data Collection

Adobe Experience Platform Data Collection Event Forwarding lets you process and route data at Adobe Edge, instead of only on the client (website or mobile app).

• Data is first collected on the client side (website or mobile app).
• That data is sent to Adobe Edge, which is the entry point into Adobe’s ecosystem.
• Traditionally, Edge sends data to Adobe tools like AEP, Analytics, Audience Manager, or Target.
• With Event Forwarding, you can now:
  • Listen to incoming events at the Edge
  • Apply rules and data elements (similar to client-side properties)
  • Forward data to Adobe destinations or external systems via webhooks (e.g., data lakes, decisioning engines, third-party apps)
